In the very centre of Warsaw, at the intersection of 9 Kredytowa Street and 8 Dąbrowskiego Square, there is a pre-war Goldstein’s tenement building. The heart of the building is a patio, which in 2014 was arranged for the purpose of the coffee bar & club. Natural finishing, lush vegetation, lunches, delicious coffee, lemonade, cocktails and partying until sunrise – this is Patio Kredytowa 9.
Miłość Kredytowa (Kredytowa Love) is the Patio’s younger sister. Both Miłość and Patio distinctive features are primarily vision of their mode of operation and programme. They are characterized by a combination of very different activities which occur at various times of the day: a cafe, a club, a vinyl record store, a barber salon, a post-production studio, an art gallery, a recording studio and an event space.
Spatial structure of the site, comprising premises of different scale, proportions and lighting, stretching on two floors, fosters such multi-functionality. Moving through the site resembles a journey through a labyrinth which reveals surprise after surprise: soft colours, enriched with stronger accents, natural, simple materials: oak, transparent glazing, steel painted in black, classic models of furniture painted in grey, and ephemeral, rippling paper ceiling.
Miłość and Patio artistic programmes reach deep into the alternative clubbing music. Spaces of the tenement building at 9 Kredytowa Street hosted artists from both Poland and abroad, inter alia: Gaslamp Killer, Nosaj Thing, Brodinski, Watsky, RYSY, Portico, Omar Souleyman, Dam Funk, Abra, Tommy Genesis, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Dam Funk, What So Not, Low Leaf, Anderson Paak, Snakehips, DuIt, KAMP!, Princess Nokia, Stwo, O.S.T.R., Catz’n Dogz and more.
We invite you to a place full of love!
